From Andechs:

We brew the Weizenbock 2902 to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the death of King Ludwig I of Bavaria (1786-1868), the founder of our Saint Bonifaz Abbey in Munich and Andechs. The number "2902" refers to the last day of February, when King Ludwig I died.
